Ernst Wolff explains in this talk how the global ‘digital-financial complex’ comprising the largest fund managers and IT corporations has developed over the years to become the most powerful force ever seen in the history of world economics – a force powerful enough to dictate its own agenda to world governments and to thereby impose anti-democratic, draconian and freedom restricting measures as evidenced over the last 2.5 years of the Corona crisis. What can ordinary people do to push back against the apparently overwhelming power of this cartel which poses such a unique threat to democracies, sovereign governments and civil society? Ernst Wolff shares plenty of his own ideas and proposals and calls upon all concerned citizens to become more internationally networked to fight effectively against this very present danger to real democracy and a carefree and self-determined life which is now ever more visible in the manufactured crises of recent years.
